Many training experiences focus on content delivery, but overlook the decision-making skills learners need in real-world situations. Knowing the steps in an SOP and understand the "why" behind it in a way that allows you to make a decisions in ambiguous situation are two different things. An effective learning design needs to address both.
I design scenario-based learning experiences that place learners in realistic situations where they must evaluate information, make decisions, and reflect on their thinking. My work emphasizes progressive scaffolding, reflection, and structured frameworks that support learners as they move from guided programs to independent application.
With a background in elementary education and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I bring a strong understanding of how learners build knowledge, develop skills, and apply learning in context. I design with the goal of supporting behavior change, not just knowledge retention.
I am particularly interested in designing learning experiences that prepare people to navigate ambiguity and make confident, informed decisions in real-world environments.
